Who is responsible

Ventora Group is responsible for the personal data described here. Write to hello@ventora.group with any question about it, including the requests set out further down.

What the contact form collects

The name, email address and message you type, and nothing else. The form does not ask for anything it does not need in order to reply to you.

Two things travel with it that are not about you. The form carries a hidden field that a real person never sees or fills in, and it notes when you started typing. Both exist only to recognise automated submissions, which are discarded; neither records anything about you.

We use it to answer your enquiry and, if the conversation goes further, to agree the work. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, and the steps needed to enter a contract where one follows.

We do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Your IP address

A public form with no sign-in attracts automated abuse, so the address your submission arrives from is recorded with it and used to rate-limit and discard obvious bot traffic.

It sits in our server logs, which are deleted automatically after fourteen days.

Who else handles it

Three companies process this data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own: Amazon Web Services hosts the site and runs the function behind the form, in their Stockholm region; Resend delivers the resulting email from their European infrastructure; Cloudflare manages our domain and routes incoming mail to our inbox.

All three operate within the European Union or the European Economic Area, so your details are not transferred outside it.

How long it is kept

Your enquiry and the correspondence that follows are kept for as long as they are needed to deal with the matter and any work that comes from it. An enquiry that does not lead to work is deleted within twelve months.

Server logs, including the IP address above, are deleted after fourteen days.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking of any kind, which is also why you are not asked to consent to any.

If you switch between the light and dark theme, that preference is saved by your own browser and never sent to us.

What you can ask for

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, restrict or object to what we do with it, or receive it in a portable form. Email us and we will act on it.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled the matter, you are entitled to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Changes

If what we do with your data changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top is the date of the current version.
